River Road

Running along the western bank of the River Arun, River Road provides vehicle and pedestrian access to the harbour area, the footbridge and West Beach. The road offers views across the river to the harbour, the fishing boats and the town beyond. The character is industrial and maritime in parts, with boatyards, storage areas and harbour-related businesses. River Road is the main route for those approaching the harbour from the western side of the river.
