Named for the railway terminus that it leads to, Terminus Road connects the station to the town centre and the harbour area. The road carries the majority of pedestrian traffic from the railway to the shops and the seafront, and its position makes it one of the most important approach routes in the town. Commercial properties, cafes and small businesses line the road, and the proximity to the station gives the area a particular character as a gateway to Littlehampton.
