Norfolk Road
Street guide, Littlehampton
A residential street named after the Dukes of Norfolk, the major landowners whose Arundel estate influenced much of Littlehampton's development. Norfolk Road connects the town centre to the southern residential area and the approaches to the seafront. The housing is predominantly Victorian and Edwardian, with some later infill development. The street's name is one of several in the town that reflect the Norfolk connection, a reminder of the aristocratic influence on the town's growth.
