Arundel Road

The road leading northward from Littlehampton towards Arundel, following the eastern side of the Arun valley. Arundel Road is part of the A284, the main road connecting the two towns, and carries commuter traffic, tourist traffic and local journeys between the coast and the historic market town four miles to the north. The road passes through a mix of residential areas and open countryside, with views of Arundel Castle becoming increasingly prominent as the road approaches the town.
