The Longest Bench installed on the seafront

A 324-metre bench, claimed as the longest in Britain, was installed along the seafront as part of the continuing improvement of the public realm. Designed by Studio Weave, the bench runs along the promenade and provides continuous seating with views of the sea and the beach. The Longest Bench added another distinctive design feature to the seafront, complementing the East Beach Cafe and reinforcing Littlehampton's emerging identity as a town that values creative public design.
