North Littlehampton development allocated

The Arun Local Plan allocated land to the north of Littlehampton for a major new housing development, committing to the construction of hundreds of new homes with supporting infrastructure including roads, schools, green spaces and community facilities. The allocation represented the most significant planned expansion of the town in decades and would increase the population considerably. The development brought both excitement about the investment and concern about the impact on infrastructure and character.
