Wick
Distinct residential neighbourhood with village-like identity and local shops
A distinct residential area to the north-east of the town centre, separated by the railway line and the light industrial areas. Wick has its own identity and community, with local shops, a pub and community facilities that give it a village-within-a-town character. The housing is predominantly twentieth-century, including semi-detached houses, bungalows and some later estate development. Wick residents often identify with their neighbourhood rather than with Littlehampton as a whole, and the area has its own social networks and community organisations. The area borders Rustington to the east and the A259 provides the main road connection to the town centre.
