Toddington

Modern residential area with family homes and proximity to open countryside

A residential area to the north and west of the town centre, where newer housing developments have extended Littlehampton's footprint. The housing in Toddington is predominantly late twentieth and early twenty-first century, with a mix of detached and semi-detached family homes, some apartment blocks and the infrastructure of modern estate development. The area is well served by local schools and has good access to the A259 for journeys east and west along the coast. Toddington retains some open space and the transition from the built-up area to the surrounding countryside is relatively abrupt, with farmland and the Arun flood plain visible from the northern edges of the development.
